Kent Suhrbier

Kent brings 24 years of professional experience with nationally and internationally recognized architecture design firms. Kent’s diverse project experience is centered around a design process that explores the unique opportunities of each project site and responds to the specific needs of the individual client. The developed solutions are unique, while maintaining a thoughtful sensitivity to the larger environment. This design rigor has been refined through manager and principal participation in successful, award-winning, and consistently sustainable projects; including corporate headquarters, university buildings, laboratories, civic facilities, museums, media studios, and private residences. These projects are all realized with an inclusive design process that integrates people, ideas, and the built environment. Mr. Suhrbier has a continuing appointment as an Adjunct Professor at Carnegie Mellon University, teaching and coordinating architectural design studios focusing of systems integration, fundamentals of form and space, and Architectural design and representation.
