Project

Summary

Bohlin Cywinski Jackson’s ongoing collaboration with Blue Bottle Coffee supports the company’s nationwide expansion, using architecture and design to celebrate the art of their craft.

The east coast expansion includes several Bohlin Cywinski Jackson-designed spaces including Blue Bottle Georgetown and Blue Bottle World Trade Center, as well as additional locations in New York City, Boston, and Miami. Each café incorporates unique details that reflect Blue Bottle’s brand aesthetic and put coffee making on display.

Key design features, such as curved wood slat walls, finely detailed millwork, exposed brick, and custom wood panels, doors, and seating, vary to complement each location and size while contributing to the refined and welcoming experience that each Blue Bottle café is designed to offer.

Select images shown above include Blue Bottle Williamsburg (Brooklyn, New York); Midtown East (New York, New York); Grand Central Place (New York, New York); and Aventura (Miami, Florida.)
