AIA Newark & Suburban’s summer webinar series hosts engaging conversations around a range of design topics. On August 15, San Francisco Principal Greg Mottola, FAIA will join AIANS for a talk on how BCJ integrates sustainability and resilience into its architectural practice through a range of compelling case studies, including Pleasant Hill Library, the Peter P. Mercer Learning Commons at Ramapo College of New Jersey, Caymus-Suisun Winery, and more.
Mottola will offer insight into engaging clients in sustainability discussions and crafting resilient designs that respond to site-specific challenges. The lecture will also discuss the role program plays in developing a sustainability response and explore the role of architect in helping clients engage with their building to maximize resiliency.
