Michael Maiese
Associate Principal
Mike brings a love of craft, materials, and collaboration across disciplines to the practice. Having spent his career pushing the boundaries of materials like glass on projects like the Rakow Research Library, Mike thrives on the technical challenges and discoveries that arise when working hand-in-hand with builders and craftspeople to realize the full potential of craft and materiality. It was his interest in building craft that first drew him to the practice and now, given his extensive experience on projects like the Design Innovation Hub at Kent State University and Apple retail stores, Mike is excited by the firm’s continued evolution and eager to mentor the next generation of architects.
