Some of these included maximizing daylight with minimal solar gain; harvesting water through a 1 million gallons cistern for landscape irrigation and toilets; using photovoltaic panels, solar thermal panels, and chilled beams; and designing a landscaped green roof that incorporates indigenous plants and trees while utilizing the grey water irrigation from the cistern.
