Ward Village Breaks Ground on Ae’o Mixed-Use Tower

Ae’o, a mixed-use residential tower designed by Bohlin Cywinski Jackson in partnership with Architects Hawaii, broke ground on Thursday.

The project, located in Ward Village, a community by The Howard Hughes Corporation in the Honolulu neighborhood of Kakaako, includes a 50,000-square-foot flagship Whole Foods Market, 466-unit condominium tower, and approximately 12,000-square-feet of additional retail space and parking.

Construction is estimated to be completed by Fall 2018.
