Victoria Acevedo honored as one of Pittsburgh’s 30 under 30
Since joining the Pittsburgh chapter of NOMA, the National Organization of Minority Architects three years ago, Victoria has made a big impact and now serves as the Vice President. She exemplifies NOMA Pittsburgh’s singular vision in supporting underrepresented individuals in the architecture profession who historically have been overlooked for mentorship, training, leadership positions or business opportunities. Most significantly, she developed a digital marketing campaign raising sponsorship and grant money toward Project Pipeline Architectural Summer Camp. Victoria’s approach as a vibrant yet humble leader is a key reason she was selected for this honor which recognizes those who embody “the creativity, passion and perseverance that have come to characterize western Pennsylvania’s new economy.”
The Pittsburgh Business Times featured all the honorees. Learn more about the 2019 recipients here.
