Located on 100 acres of former farmland in the upper Hudson Valley, Gallatin Residence is a place of respite for our client, who had owned the land for more than a decade before approaching our practice to design a home there. As Lee shares in the video, the scale of the home “feels simultaneously grand and intimate,” particularly in the upper level pavilion, which floats above the surrounding landscape.
