Patricia Culley recently contributed her first of what will become a regular guest blogging endeavor for Pittsburgh's Green Building Alliance.

In this first entry, BCJ Associate Culley talks about her recent trip to Seattle to present lessons learned from the Frick Environmental Center, BCJ’s first Living Building Challenge-targeted project, of which Culley served as Project Architect.

King County executives approached the Frick Environmental Center project team because, “as the first municipally owned and free-admission LBC-targeted project, the FEC was an early adopter of the Living Building Challenge, overcoming highly difficult obstacles to achieve ambitious sustainability goals.”
