With more than 20 years of experience as an architect, Tom provides a wealth of design and master planning experience at Bohlin Cywinski Jackson. He believes buildings can transform their environments through the strong connection between landscape, program, and materials and the simple expression of structure. Since joining the practice in 1999, Tom has led formative projects in the Philadelphia office, including the Cherie Flores Garden Pavilion at Hermann Park and the recently completed Sumers Recreation Center at Washington University in St. Louis. In addition to design practice, Tom teaches in the graduate architecture program at his alma mater, Temple University. He leads Bohlin Cywinski Jackson’s Philadelphia office with Principals Frank Grauman, Dave Murray, and Randy Reid.
