Apple Store, Carrousel du Louvre

Occupying a corner of the subterranean courtyard of the Carrousel du Louvre, the Apple Store directly responds to the museum's existing inverted glass pyramid, which was completed in 1989 by I.M. Pei. A massive suspended glass stair hangs from the ceiling above. The monumental stone lining the Carrousel walls extends into the Apple Store entry to seamlessly integrate the two spaces.
