Located in a busy commercial district north of downtown Chicago, the Lincoln Park store sits on a triangular parcel, which is bounded by three major streets and includes the refurbished North & Clybourn Station. Between the train station and the store, a new granite plaza provides a place of refuge. Multiple entrances lead to a voluminous single sales floor, lit by a 90-ft. long skylight. The stainless steel interior walls provide a quiet backdrop for the product on display. From the inside, glimpses of the plaza, the neighboring elevated train line, and the ubiquitous Chicago skyline offer visual reminders anchoring the store to the city.
