AIA-Sunset Western Home Award for the Woodway Residence

The Western Home Awards cosponsored by the AIA and Sunset magazine has awarded the Woodway Residence with a 2008 Western Home Merit Award.
The jury admired the "radical seamlessness of the intervention. The clarification of the plan as a series of parallel spines -organized around a central indoor-outdoor gallery of ipe decking - turns the house into an eloquent environmental design where each zone appears to dissolve into the garden landscape."
