
Yale Chemistry Research Building Wins Award for Brick in Architecture

The Brick Industry Association (BIA) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA) announced today that the Chemistry Research Building at Yale University was selected for a Bronze Award in the University, Educational, and Administrative category of the 2007 Brick in Architecture Awards Program. The building will be listed in the December issue of Architectural Record and is featured in the Brick Gallery on the BIA's website.
Designed by Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, in conjunction with Cannon Design, the Yale Chemistry Research Building was the first chemistry building to receive a Leadership in Energy an Environmental Design (LEED) Silver certification by the U.S Green Building Council.
