Peace Arch Port of Entry wins Honor Award

March 29, 2007

The U.S. General Services Administration has presented the Peace Arch Port of Entry with an Honor Award for Design. The GSA Design Awards Program is held every two years to honor "the best of the best" of the federal projects designed and constructed by GSA.

"This should be a model and an inspiration for future ports of entry. The design is at once sensitive and bold. It is architecture in the landscape. It shapes and marks its environment, but is also deeply respectful of that environment." - Jury comment
