Detailed Project Program completed for the University of Puget Sound Center for Health Sciences

February 14, 2006, Tacoma, Washington

In January 2006, Bohlin Cywinski Jackson completed the Detailed Project Program and fundraising materials for the Center for Health Sciences at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. This new 40,000 sq. ft. facility will house undergraduate psychology and exercise science departments, graduate occupational therapy and physical therapy programs and a new undergraduate neuroscience program. The co-location of these departments enables the development of a unique curriculum that promotes and encourages an interdisciplinary approach to learning. As the first building set forth under a new master plan, the Center for Health Sciences has the opportunity to extend the university's rich campus fabric to the south end of campus. This project is currently in the fundraising phase and schematic design is scheduled to begin in 2008.
